Refworks Citation Management

Refworks is a citation manager available to Webster University students to help solve the problem of documenting research sources. When tackling a large research project, it can be difficult to keep track of sources. Many students develop their own methods, such as keeping a document with notes about each source.  However, larger projects can make these methods cumbersome and inconvenient. Webster University Library can help!

Using RefWorks, students can create citations and add notes (for instance, reasons that the article is relevant to an assignment, or reminders to further investigate certain topics). The library catalog and many databases even include an option to export citations to Refworks. This means that when browsing search results, students can add articles to a Refworks account with a few clicks. Refworks can also help you create a bibliography in various styles and share your citations with other users.
